     Hey Kickballers! Happy Wednesday!!  MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!! The End of Season party has been finalized!! We will be having it FRIDAY MAY 2ND at McFaddens with the WAKA league in Carrollton.  We will be doing some giveaways and will have keg/shot/drink specials for everyone.  With the rainouts this season so far we have had to push the playoffs back a few weeks, so this end of season party will actually be the week after we end the season!  Here is the facebook event: Captains please add your teammates if they haven't already been added!

 

MID SEASON PARTY!!

 

Rain really has not been on our side the past couple of weeks.  At least we stopped the games right before the rain and the hail started in our area last week!  We were, however, able to get two games done, so there will only be 4 games this week. Here were their scores.

     The schedule has been updated on the site for this week so please make sure your teams are aware of when you play and that you arrive early! There are two teams that are done with their regular season games so they will not have to play this week. HOWEVER,  I need BOTH of those teams to provide referees for the games that start at 7pm.  I kept the schedule the same from last week, so they still have their reffing responsibilities.  Swift Kickin the Balls and Friends with Benefits will have a double header. Note: The game times have been changed from that of last week to be at 7pm and 8pm this week! This will be the LAST week before playoffs which also means it's the last week to use subs if they are needed.  Once I have all of the final scores I will get the bracket for playoffs out to you Monday.

 

Even if you don't have games this week PLEASE  try to go out to the BAR after the games are done or during the game times for a few drinks tomorrow night!  We will have both flip cup and beer pong to play if you would like to play those!

 

     For playoffs, we will play all of the quarter final games next week (April 17th).  And then the Semi-Finals and the Finals games will be the following week (April 24th).  ***This is all subject to rainouts as well!***  I understand some players from teams will be playing in a tournament in Austin on April 26th... I have been asked by a few to push back the schedule for this tournament to allow more players rest, however, we will NOT be pushing back the schedule to accomadate the tournament. This tournament is not a WAKA one, so unless the games have a rainout either of those weeks, we will still hold them as scheduled!

OOOHHH ....ONE LAST THING..... The next season of kickball should be opening up registration soon (within the next week or so) and the summer season will start on MAY 29TH!!!! If you have any friends that are interested in joining also please pass this information on.  Still working on a few things for the upcoming season but all of the details will be to you shortly! So stay posted!! :)
